It impresses with its profound structure and fine, elegant perlage. Notes of citrus and brioche lend it a distinctive character, inviting you to discover far more than it reveals at first glance.

Our first traditional method sparkling wine brings together the noble grape varieties Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay in an exceptional cuvée. The early-harvested grapes are gently pressed and, after fermentation, matured for six months in used barriques. This is followed by the second fermentation in the bottle.Only after five years on the lees is this remarkable sparkling wine disgorged, refined, and finally presented as our latest creation, carefully named and labeled..

We’re convinced screw caps help our wines age more gradually and uniformly, so each vintage can reach its fullest, most harmonious expression. Plus, they let us cut sulfur additions by 50%, resulting in wines that feel lighter and more approachable. With zero risk of cork taint and rock‑solid consistency, every bottle performs exactly as intended.

The Kränzelhof Estate in Cermes/Tscherms is a medieval manor and winery. Its seven hectares of vineyards extend across altitudes ranging from 300 to 600 meters on the slopes overlooking the Merano/Meran basin.  Fertilizers and herbicides have been banished since 2006, with the 2023 harvest marking its first certified organic vintage. The wines produced at Kränzelhof showcase remarkable personality, with their very best aptly labeled “Nature’s Artwork.”

Spanning 20,000 square meters, the gardens offer seven stunning spaces filled with ancient trees, aromatic blooms, modern sculptures, and charming labyrinths to lose oneself in. At Miil, situated in a historic mill, chef Othmar Raich treats diners to creatively prepared regional specialties, with a menu freshly composed each day. After dining, I’d gladly lose track of time in the garden’s labyrinth – just so I could return later and enjoy another delightful culinary experience.
